Conditions of Carriage for Event Transport

In addition to our General Terms and Conditions, the following conditions of carriage apply for event transport, which you accept by making a booking.

Examples for such transport are concerts at the Coroglen Tavern, the "Taste of Matarangi" festival, the "Seafood Festival" (formerly Scallop Festival) in Whitianga, or the "Coro Classic" in Matarangi, but also private weddings and similar.
Conditions of Carriage for concert and festival transport:

1.
Any person that has booked such service for multiple passengers and on their behalf is responsible to communicate the following conditions of carriage to each member of their group, as you will be responsible for them and their behaviour.
2.
No eating or drinking (not limited to alcohol) is allowed in the vehicle, and no illegal substances are allowed on board. Before boarding the bus you will be asked to dispose of said items.
3.
No smoking or vaping is allowed in the vehicle.
4.
You and all members of your group must be ready to board at the designated location five minutes prior to the confirmed pick up time. Note that the final pick up time may differ from your initial invoice / booking confirmation, as we often need to juggle bookings around a bit. Changes are usually minor and will be communicated to you at least two hours before by text message or phone call.
Our driver has the right to depart without you or part of your group if they are unsuccessful in getting your group on board in time for a punctual departure, as to not to delay pick ups and departures for passengers booked on subsequent runs.
5.
If you miss your transport because you were not ready to board at the agreed location and time, no refund will be given of the paid fare.
6.
All persons must be seated in the vehicle on available seats. No banging or other action damaging the vehicle, its contents or otherwise is allowed. Misbehaviour during the use of or damage to the vehicle can lead to intervention of local police authorities.
7.
Do not dispose of any litter in the vehicle, and no litter should be left in the pick-up/drop off points.
8.
The vehicle has no toilet facilities. Make sure that should one require toilet facilities they do so prior to boarding.
9.
Seating is on a first come first serve basis.
10.
Failure to comply with these conditions: see section 16.
11.
On some occasions, when there are multiple runs for the same route, people travelling as a group can’t be guaranteed to travel in the same vehicle and therefore may be on separate vehicles as may be required to fill up the required seats for the vehicle to leave on its designated trips.
12.
Due to high demand, such transport often runs on a tight schedule. Whilst we make every effort to provide an on time service there is a possibility for departure and arrival times to vary due to extenuating circumstances. Timings may be delayed due to but not limited to weather, traffic and/or road closures/conditions, delays as a result of increased waiting time for the bus to leave due to number of passengers on board and/or passengers creating delays to board (due to party size, disposal of unauthorised items on bus) and/or delays, mechanical issues with the vehicle, security issues, disobedience from passengers, and/or any other extenuating circumstances beyond the organisers’ control.
13.
Organisers are not responsible for missed transportation or arrival to/from the event at a specific time on the time table and the adhering to the time table. It is advisable to plan ahead of time to avoid disappointment should there be any delays in the arrival to/from the event.
14.
The organisers reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, change and/or amend part of the schedule and operation of the transport service as may be necessary.
15.
The organisers are not directly or indirectly liable for personal items brought on board of the vehicle whether lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise whilst on board the vehicle.
16.
Customers are expected to avail of the event transport service without causing any disturbance and/or nuisance to fellow commuters, staff, drivers and the vehicles they are travelling in. Organisers and security reserve the right to refuse service in any shape or form if the organisers and security deem it necessary as a result of disorderly conduct which would include but is not limited to: failure to abide to the general rules as explained in these terms and conditions; use of vulgar and/or aggressive language to fellow commuters and/or any member of staff; physical altercations in any shape or form; misbehaviour as a result of excessive consumption of alcohol or otherwise; damage to the vehicle; general misconduct and misbehaviour. There shall be no refund for services paid should there be a refusal on admission and/or provision of service as a result of disorderly conduct as determined by the organisers and/or security personnel.
